Thanks for visiting The Wayward Cartoonist, and welcome!
As long as I can remember, I’ve been able to draw. And as long as I’ve been able to draw, I’ve always considered myself a cartoonist.
For various reasons too boring to explain here, I stopped drawing in my early 20’s, thinking “I’ll eventually get back to it.” I never really did. I had forsaken part of my own identity.
Now, more than 15 years later (and in my late 30’s), I’m ready to reclaim that part of who I am. This blog will chronicle my journey to become a published cartoonist. Expect video journal entries, drawings, audio journal entries, and… well, who knows what else.
I may succeed, I may fail, but I’m damn sure gonna try. Please join me in my journey by sharing your thoughts and comments at the end of each entry.
