To answer my earlier question: YES, Wacom is DAMN worth it!
I am absolutely thrilled with the way the Intuos4 tablet feels and performs. To say it is better than the el-cheapo tablet I was using is a gross understatement, akin to saying that a Ferrari is better than a go-kart. Had I but known, I would not have even contemplated a comparison.
The picture posts to follow are the fruits of my labor last night/this morning, all penciled and inked in Scribbles.
